I started my professional career in 2001 as a teaching assistant at the University of Sharjah, where I earned my B.Sc. in Computer Science and ranked first over the1997 batch. In 2007, my aspiration for entering the field of contemporary business led me to join Dubai World Trade Centre as an application analyst in the business solutions team. Although I hold a masters degree in IT from the British University in Dubai and a professional certificate from Microsoft, and despite the fact that I have special penchant for devising systems as solutions for real world needs and problems and modeling the world as a system (computational social and economic modeling) but I perceives IT more of a tool I would utilize in realizing the many ideas I have in the business, social, and economic realms. In this regard I do have special interest in social entrepreneurship where success is measured in terms of profit return on investment as well as positive return to society (and humanity?).
